About Me

Entrepreneur. Technologist. Media Professional. Writer. Politician. Social Worker. Traveler. Coffee Lover.

I am Ozone Babu Acharya—an entrepreneur, technologist, media professional, writer, politician, and curious human being who believes that life becomes meaningful when we continue to learn, create, connect, and contribute.

My journey has never been limited to a single profession or a single definition. I have always been drawn toward new ideas, new people, new places, and new possibilities. Over the years, this curiosity has taken me through technology and entrepreneurship, journalism and writing, hospitality and travel, public life and politics.

Each experience has shaped a different part of who I am.

Building Through Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is one of the strongest threads running through my journey.

As the Founder of Ashreej Media and Technologies, I have worked in the world of technology, digital solutions, media, and innovation. My interest has always been in using technology not simply as a tool, but as a way to solve problems, create opportunities, and connect people with possibilities.

I am also a co-founder of Yellow House, a popular restaurant that represents another side of my entrepreneurial journey—the world of hospitality, food, conversations, community, and experiences.

For me, entrepreneurship is not only about starting businesses. It is about having the courage to turn an idea into something real, accepting uncertainty, learning from failure, and continuously trying to create something valuable.

Technology & Media

Technology has been an important part of my professional life, but storytelling has always been equally important.

I have been involved in digital media and journalism, including my role as an editor at Nawasambad Online Newspaper. Working around media has strengthened my belief in the importance of information, communication, curiosity, and independent thought.

I enjoy being around ideas—whether those ideas are expressed through technology, journalism, conversation, or creative work.

Writing: My Quietest Conversation

There is another side of me that is perhaps less visible—the writer.

Writing gives me the freedom to slow down and observe.

I write about life, relationships, memories, emotions, people, journeys, loneliness, dreams, and the little moments that often go unnoticed. Sometimes my writing is personal; sometimes it is reflective; sometimes it is simply an attempt to understand something I cannot explain in conversation.

My literary work, including the Black Coffee collection, reflects this part of my personality.

I don’t write because I have all the answers.

I write because I have questions.

And sometimes, writing is the best way I know to search for their answers.

Public Life & Politics

I am also involved in Nepal’s political and public life as a politician associated with the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).

My interest in politics comes from a broader interest in society and the future of Nepal. I believe public life should ultimately be about people—their aspirations, opportunities, dignity, and quality of life.

Politics, like entrepreneurship, requires listening, responsibility, courage, and the willingness to step outside one’s comfort zone. My involvement in public life is another chapter in my continuing journey of learning, contributing, and understanding the country I call home.

A Man Who Loves to Walk

Travel has always been close to my heart.

I am the Founder of Hidne Manxe, a travel brand inspired by one of the simplest and most beautiful things we can do: walk, explore, and experience the world around us.

Hidne Manxe is more than a travel concept for me. It reflects a way of seeing life.

There is something special about leaving the familiar behind, taking a road you have never taken before, meeting people you have never met, discovering places you have never seen, and collecting stories along the way.

Travel teaches humility.

It reminds us that the world is much bigger than our daily routines—and that sometimes the best destinations are not places on a map, but experiences that stay with us.

And Yes, I Love Coffee

Then there is coffee.

Perhaps coffee deserves its own chapter.

I am a genuine coffee lover. For me, coffee is not merely a beverage. It is a pause, a conversation, a ritual, and sometimes a companion.

Some of my favorite ideas have probably appeared over a cup of coffee.

A good cup of coffee gives you time to think. It gives conversations room to breathe. It makes ordinary moments feel a little less ordinary.

And perhaps that is why Black Coffee feels like such a natural part of my story.

More Than a Job Title

I don’t believe a person can truly be described by a list of designations.

Entrepreneur describes what I build.

Technologist describes how I solve.

Writer describes how I feel and reflect.

Media professional describes how I communicate.

Politician describes my engagement with public life.

Traveler describes my curiosity.

And coffee lover describes one of the simplest pleasures I never get tired of.

But underneath all those labels, I am simply someone who remains curious.

Curious about people.

Curious about places.

Curious about technology.

Curious about ideas.

Curious about stories.

Curious about what is possible.

My Journey Continues

I have never wanted my journey to follow a perfectly straight line.

Some chapters have been about building businesses. Some about writing. Some about technology. Some about journalism. Some about politics. Some about travel. And some have simply been about sitting quietly with a cup of coffee and thinking about life.

I believe these apparently different experiences are actually connected.

They all come from the same place:

Curiosity. Courage. Creativity. And a desire to make something meaningful.

I am still learning.

Still building.

Still writing.

Still walking.

Still meeting people.

Still drinking coffee.

And still discovering where the road leads next.

This is my journey.
This is my work.
This is my story.

Welcome to the world of Ozone Babu Acharya.
